Four rules that apply to all of them
Treat it now. A wet stain and a dry stain are two different problems.
Blot straight down. Rubbing drives the stain deeper into the weave.
No heat until it’s gone — not the dryer, not the iron, not hot water.
Test anything new on an inside seam before you put it on the stain.
